Sales Specialist (all levels)

What You’ll Be Doing:
  • Working with a smart, ambitious, and helpful sales and marketing team to evaluate high value prospects and move them through a sales pipeline.
  • Anticipating the needs of prospective customers & educating them on IdeaRoom offers & services.
  • Creating deals, executing of contracts, & and responding reflexively to prospect concerns to close a high volume of new deals.
  • Maintaining a self-starter attitude while designing new offers, practices, narratives and strategies that improve close rates.
What We’ll Expect From You:
  • Experience in a sales role with an all-star track record of winning new contracts.
  • Familiarity with managing deal pipelines, generating sales reports and forecasting.
  • Superior written & oral communication skills.
  • A passion for active listening within ongoing conversations, and an ability to respond flexibly to the speaker’s needs. You like thinking on your feet!
  • Working knowledge of SAAS companies or an ability to learn quickly.
  • A strong work ethic with a joy for collaborative team environments.
  • A tendency to self-teach, problem solve, and improve offers, practices, tools & strategies.

Manager of Business Development & Strategic Partnerships

What You’ll Be Doing:
  • Working with a smart, ambitious, and helpful sales and marketing team to evaluate high value partners and strategic sales opportunities. 
  • Coordinating action between partners, engineers, and other members of the IdeaRoom team to improve and/or develop integrated solutions that help our clients meet their goals.
  • Initiating and leading exploratory talks to drive new business opportunities and product growth initiatives with partners, working with product, partner management, solutions engineering, and other cross-functional stakeholders as required.
  • Driving research into new markets, technologies, and other opportunities that help drive IdeaRoom’s strategic growth. 
  • Maintaining a self-starter attitude while inventing new processes, practices and frameworks for maximizing revenue via strategic partnerships.
What We’ll Expect From You:
  • Strategic thinking and leadership. You are comfortable with ambiguity, have excellent project management skills, and can maintain strong attention to detail without losing the big picture.
  • A passion for leading complex product integrations across multiple teams, internally and externally. 
  • A strong work ethic with a joy for collaborative team environments.
  • A tendency to self-teach, problem solve, and improve offers, practices, tools & strategies.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
